About Role

Petion Law, P.A., a full service Personal Injury firm based in Hollywood, Florida is seeking to fill a newly opened position of Supervisor for Pre-Litigation Team- Personal Injury to manage the day to day operations of its growing team. This position requires a successful candidate with significant experiences in Customer Service Team Management; Personal Injury, Slips & Falls, Recognition of 1st and 3rd Party Bad Faith opportunities, High exposure losses, Insurance Litigation & a proven track record of negotiating & resolving Pre-Litigated cases with direct reporting to the firm’s Managing Partner. Only Candidates with the aforementioned skills set will be considered.

 

Responsibilities

The ideal Candidate must possess strong analytical & management skills with professional appearance, team oriented, that has a zeal for learning and growth, and the ability to work without supervision. Must have a minimum of 5+ years experience in the Practice Area of Personal Injury & Insurance Litigation. The firm provides a great working environment, above market compensation with excellent benefits package. This position manages the day to day operations of the Pre-Litigation team and requires Excellent Customer Service Management, hands on approach and attorney effectiveness by developing case information, evidence, and settlement options; tracking cases; High level of Negotiation & Settlement Skills; and Ability to enhance team dynamics. This position provides incentives for exceptional performance, a comprehensive salary package consisting of minimum base salary of $50k plus quarterly incentives. - Expected total compensation for top performers- $65k. In addition, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package consisting of Medical/Dental benefit, 401k, Profit Sharing, Business Attire Allowance & Quarterly bonuses.

 

Duties

  • Manage multi-line telephones, set appointments for new/existing clients, and take case information from clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsels.

  • Open new files (obtain medical records and bills, police reports, insurance information, request for PIP payout sheets, and fill out PIP applications for clients.)

  • Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring and maintaining calendars for Associate Attorney; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and confirming case status with attorney; coordinate and schedule EUOs, depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as well as assisting the attorney in preparing for the same.

  • Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; scheduling depositions; preparing and forwarding summonses and subpoenas; drafting complaints; preparing and filing discovery requests; preparing responses to opposing counsel; generating status reports.

  • Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress.

  • Maintains case costs by verifying outstanding balances with attorney, clients, and providers.

  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
